About

Why we roast coffee
For us, coffee is much more than just a drink - it tells stories, connects cultures and creates encounters that transcend borders. But coffee is also a mirror of global inequalities. With our work, we want to show that coffee can be a tool for social change.
Our aim is to break down colonial structures in the coffee industry and create fairer conditions by promoting partnerships based on fairness, transparency and respect - from producers to consumers. We are fascinated by the incredible variety of flavors that each bean brings. From fruity and floral notes to nutty or chocolaty nuances - our aim is to bring these special worlds of taste to life and create something unique with every cup.
Every bean we roast is the result of hard work, tradition and care. Coffee should not only be a pleasure, but also make the people and cultures behind it visible. Because without the producers and their work, we would be nothing. Our credo: not to take ourselves too seriously.
How we roast
We deliberately roast briefly and precisely to emphasize the individual character of each bean. No heavy, dark roasts: We rely on modern, vibrant profiles that bring out the best in every bean. We focus on clarity and the natural aromas that make each origin and variety unique.
The Typhoon Fluid Bed roaster allows us to work with maximum control and efficiency. Through direct heat transfer, we emphasize the subtle nuances of the beans and minimize the risk of over-roasting. At the same time, the roaster consumes less energy than conventional drum roasters, making it not only sustainable in terms of taste, but also ecologically.
With this approach, we ensure that every bean can develop its full potential - for a cup of coffee that impresses both in terms of taste and history.
Responsible procurement and transparency
We focus on social and ecological responsibility when selecting our coffees. Our priority is direct, long-term relationships with farmers to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the supply chain. When this is not possible, we work with partners who share our values.
Only through close cooperation along the entire supply chain can we ensure that farmers receive fair prices that secure their livelihoods and make coffee cultivation sustainable.
Who we are
What once began as a one-man business has now developed into a place that attracts and inspires coffee enthusiasts. One particular example of this is our espresso bar, which is run by women from Ukraine and Russia. Our team is made up of people from very different backgrounds: Carpenters, architects, chefs, waiters and housewives - each contributing their individual skills, united by a common vision.

Our vision was and is to create a place where everyone feels welcome - a place that invites you to linger and offers space for encounters. This initial idea has now developed into a special meeting place for everyone who appreciates good coffee and exciting stories.
